The Early Bird
This is what I am telling myself this morning...
This is how I really feel!
The house is being listed on Monday! EEK! Don't worry, on Wednesday, I will reveal all the updates we did to get ready - I know you are stoked.
Back to this morning. Waking up early sucks. Seriously. My last year of teaching school started at 7:20. 7:20!! I had to be there at 7:00 am! And the second half of the year, I had a newborn who did not sleep through the night until she was 1. I was a walking zombie. But here lately, the kids have been sleeping late, we have been a tad bit lazy and that wonderful, glorious time in our lives is over (for now). 1. I need the hubs home earlier than normal since weddings are about to rev back up (meetings/rehearsals - they are about to take over my life) 2. We have to get things done in the morning! Who would of thought - but since we are selling, there are daily tasks that have to get done that I can't do with two kids and work. So - we are trying to get up early to get everything done and Sam out the door in a reasonable hour. It is hard when you don't have a kid nagging at you that is it "Wake up time!!" Instead, they are asleep peacefully in their beds. Henry helped us out this morning and woke up at 6:30 (15 minuted before the alarm). We are trying a few new schedules/clean up routines to see what will work best for us. So far, I am actually liking some of the things we have in place. It seems like a lot - but really, when you just upkeep, it is so much easier than letting it pile up. I will share all our secrets on Wednesday. Man - I have a lot invested in Wednesday's post...
So, Good morning Blog world - are you an early riser? How do you motivate yourself to get out of those scrumptiously warm sheets in the morning? Any tips are greatly appreciated..
