How did you two meet?
Let me start this post by giving you a little bit of background information....Dana and I have been in business for almost 7 years now and have developed some pretty good relationships with a few, choice vendors. One of those vendors is Patrick with PC productions. We have been working with him for the past 4 years or so and last year we did like 6 weddings together.
One wedding this past October we were working together and Dana and I had lots to do. We were up on ladders hanging lanterns and putting curtains in the windows etc...We love working with Patrick because when he is all set up he always gives us a hand with whatever we happen to be working on. That day we were so pushed for time that we were not going to be able to get lunch so Patrick volunteered to buy and retrieve our lunch for us (Thanks Patrick...)! We sat down for lunch and were just chatting away when the conversation turned to our business partnership....it went something like this...
Patrick: So, how long have you been in business?
C&D: About 6 1/2 years.
Patrick: That's great....So how did you guys meet?
C&D: (Blank stare)....Our mother introduced us.....
Patrick: (Confused Look) Oh really....
C&D: Ya, when Dana was born....
Patrick: (Still confused)
C&D: We are sisters...
Patrick: Ohhh....I see the resemblance now....So that is why you guys talk to each other so "nicely" ...this explains it.
The best part was that all night several of the wedding guest came up to thank us for the job we had done and undoubtedly asked if we were sisters or twins all while Patrick was standing by us! Hilarious!
Disclaimer: We really do work very well together...and can communicate as only sisters can with a look or a grunt...no feelings are ever hurt in the process...
