This was one of our busiest weekends this past fall. We had this wedding on Saturday in the Outer Banks and another on Sunday in Raleigh. The Sunday wedding was a full plan bride so there were lots of components to put together and we made the decision to have just one of us go with another planner. The other stayed to make sure everything was perfect for our other wedding on Sunday. Oddly enough, both brides had the same name, so there were a lot of confusing conversations between Courtney and I the weeks leading up to it! Nikki came with me (one of our planners) and we had a good time on the drive and enjoyed hanging out all weekend. 

Caitlin found us on the knot and actually purchased one of our wedding channel deals. At the time she was deployed in Afghanistan and she had to book us on trust really. We were happy to help her out and make sure her wedding went off perfectly. Her Fiance was also deployed (they are both pilots!) and they both were not returning until 2 weeks before the wedding. The week before they came back, Irene hit. If you remember, the Outer Banks took a pretty good beating, so we were all nervous about the state of the house and the beach. Luckily the house was fine and the beach was still intact, although they lost about 40 feet of beach and a gazebo. The gazebo was reconstructed and the plans for the aisle were changed, but we made it work and it was a beautiful ceremony!
