Let's be honest, we all get really excited about cake!

On your wedding day, the flavor and appearance of your cake is important. The wedding cake is a such a sweet moment to taste and experience. It is the first activity for the bride and groom at their wedding, and together they cut and share this charming moment. We've seen so many different wedding cakes here at The Bradford so the options to create your dream cake are endless. The average spending on a wedding cake in 2016, according to The Knot, was $582. A lot of brides during the spring and summer will chose to do fruity cakes such as lemon or citrus flavored, as well as strawberry buttercream with fresh strawberries inside.. Yum! During the fall and cooler wedding seasons flavors such as pumpkin, apple spice, chocolate, and red velvet are more popular. You can go simple or you can go all out, either way your guests and their stomachs will be happy!

People sometimes get so caught up with the brides and their beautiful dresses, but we can't forget about our handsome grooms! Picking out the perfect suit for the groom is also a process that must be considered. Color options include (but are never limited to) navy, black, gray, and cream. Grooms also can think about vintage suspenders, unique socks, tie or bow tie, etc. According to The Knot, the average money spent on groom attire was $280. Though we might not think that grooms are involved in much of the planning process, they do have a job of looking their absolute best on their day full of love and laughter. Leon's attire looked spectacular here at The Bradford and we loved spending their wedding day with them!
