Here at the Bradford we rely on a lot of teamwork to keep things running smoothly. With so many weddings and events, one person simply cannot take on every task alone. Today we wanted to introduce the friendly faces behind the Bradford, our leaders Dana and Maggie!
Dana graduated from Meredith College and married her high school sweetheart six weeks later. She is now a mother to her children Ada Jane and Henry John, co-founder of our sister company C and D events, and owner of The Bradford. Dana handles all inquires about the venue and gets in touch with interested couples to discuss availability. She is in charge of giving tours and can provide you with any information on Bradford styling, policies, capacities, weather/landscaping during different seasons, etc. Dana also handles logistics such as contracts and will be the first person to reach out if you are interested in booking The Bradford. In addition, she directs and approves all marketing and social media for the venue. She is always looking at the big picture for The Bradford, deciding on direction and exciting upcoming projects!
Maggie grew up in Virginia and received a degree in Hospitality from Virginia Tech. She joined the Bradford team as our Event Manager in February, and now handles all the important house details. Every day brings something new whether its power washing the terrace, or a fresh new coat of paint. Maggie is your go-to-girl for event execution and any Bradford maintenance needs. On event days, you can find her on site bright and early making sure everything is in order from breakfast in the bridal suite to perfectly placing every table and chair. On top of her many duties, Maggie also takes care of scheduling and final walkthrough meetings. She establishes relationships with brides and vendors and constantly stays in touch to keep them up to date and make sure everyone is on the same page.
