With the long days in our busy lives, it's always important to stop and smell the roses and take in what really matters. Here at The Bradford we take that literally!
This past week, The Bradford hosted it's first creative class: a floral arranging class with Julie from Bushel + Peck. Everything about the evening was wonderful! From the design of the workshop and the floral arranging lesson to the masterpieces the ladies created, the class was detailed and elegant.
Our friends from Greenhouse Picker Sisters provided us with three beautiful wooden farm tables which complimented The Bradford perfectly. The tables were decorated with personalized aprons, name cards, and of course lots of flowers and greenery! Julie taught the ladies that the pantone color this year is green, so each piece was designed with different shades and tints of green flowers and greenery.
After light refreshments, courtesy of Donovan's Dish, Julie shared her expertise with the class and the ladies were ready to sketch and arrange flowers! So they tied their aprons, picked up the clippers, and starting designing!
Sipping on champagne throughout the evening and helping each other, all the ladies were overjoyed with their finished products. Every arrangement was different and reflected the taste and style of each person. From tall arrangements with lots of movement to shorter and more compact designs, each creation was pleasing to the eye.
Our first floral arranging class at The Bradford was a huge success for us and the ladies! Big thanks to Julie from Bushel + Peck. We are so excited to continue these classes here at The Bradford!
